Description
Morphalloy 5O is a revolutionary new iron based alloy that yields deposits that are over 50% amorphous (metal with glass crystals) and self-bonding. It provides exceptional resistance to high temperature wear, oxidation, and corro-sion with individual particle hardness exceeding 67Rc. Morphalloy is particular suited for such demanding environ-ments as oil sand, exhaust fans, boiler tubes, hot metal roll ers, etc. Additions of aluminum to this alloy provide bond-strengths exceeding 10,000psi, eliminating the use of bond coat alloys in most applications.
