EQ003 THE PIPE TOURNIQUET is an unique product designed for immediate sealing of leaks of all types of pipes, without prior surface preparation. It is constructed of a heavy duty elastomer, bonded to velcro, and mounted on a spool for ease in application. THE PIPE TOURNIQUET creates such a superb seal that it is not necessary to reduce pressure in the pipe to effect the repair, and is generally applied within one (1) minute. For use in conjunction with epoxy repair products, it also increases corrosion resistance by placing a barrier between the product and the repair compound.

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS:
- Begin wrapping the ruptured pipe with THE PIPE TOURNIQUET, making the first wrap directly over the leak area. Use the spool to maintain control of the unused portion of the wrap.
- Maintaining maximum, constant tension with THE PIPE TOURNIQUET, continue to wrap the ruptured pipe, deviating very little to the left and right of the leak area.
- After applying all of the elastomer, maintain tension on the wrap and fasten in place using the velcro strip placed at the end of the roll.
- With the leak stopped, the repair is ready to be completed, using one of many METALINK products, such as ML450 SEAL-SKIN PIPE WRAP, or ML400 MACHINABLE REPAIR. Follow application instructions for epoxy compounds.
